The away side came with the win on a good morning for football in Ballitore and more importantly have kept in touch with the league leaders Vale Wanderers. Pats took the lead on 15 mins from a header after a free kick. Mill levelled within 5 minutes after Conor Perse tucked home. Pats regained the lead after a corner was turned into his own net by a Mill defender. Mill got a penalty when Conor Perse was hauled down and Paul Kirwan cooly slotted home sending the keeper the wrong way.
Both sides pushed hard in the 2nd half for a winner with Mill going close through Cian Lynch and Eric Mackey but it was Pats who found a winner with 5 minutes to go.
Best for Mill were Tom McGuirk, Paddy Dunne and Eric Mackey.
