Killeshin AFC 6 – 2 Bagenalstown AFC.
This match was pretty much a ‘one-sided’ affair, as Killeshin went ahead after only ten minutes when Scott Rycroft was put through on goal by Aaron Dargan and he calmly slotted home into the bottom corner, giving Bagenalstown keeper no chance and a deserved 1-0 lead.
Scott added a second for his brace, following a solo run from midfield and it was 2-0 and before the interval they went 3-0 up when Aaron Dargan finished well.
The second half was much the same as the first-half as Scott Roycroft ‘bagged’ his hat-trick after only five minutes when he latched on to a ball over the top by Jack Byrne and finished really well for 4-0.
Bagenalstown pulled a goal back when Killeshin’s keeper – Lee Byrne handled outside the box, and this was converted easily by Aidan Dowling to make the score 4 – 1.
Killeshin pulled further away from Bagenalstown when Aaron Dargan got his second for 5– 1 and soon afterwards Jack Byrne netted for 6 – 1.
