Joeys equalised almost immediately, and the sides were level again in the 55th minute. 2 goals in the space of 4 minutes decided the destination of the points, Enda Butler sent a screamer to the visitors net on 67 minutes and then a Butler shot deflected past an excellent Joeys keeper off a defender in the 70th minute. Mark Brennan then got on the scoresheet in the 73rd minute and there was no way back for Joeys. Podge Kelly, Billy Campion and Enda Butler excelled for the winners.
