St Anne's Ballylinan v Vale Wanderers
St Anne's win well at home
U17 league 16/10 14:30
St Anne's Ballylinan 9 - 0 Vale Wanderers

It was a nice October afternoon for a game of soccer in Ballylinan between St Anne's and Vale Wanderers.

The first half was a very competitive game between both teams . St Annes took the lead in the 17th minute after a Mackenzie Mc Ivor cross was fired home by Jack Gorman . The first half finished with 1 - 0 to St Anne's.

Vale had a few injury concerns in the second half and this unfortunately affected them, forcing them to make changes to player positions.

This allowed St Anne's to capatilize on this opportunity and they scored eight unanswered goals in the second half.

The final score does not reflect on a very competitive first half Vale Wanderers team and their injuries concerns in the second half .

St Anne's Goal scorers : Cathal Casey (52, 57, 65 mins), Paddy Julian (47 & 80 min), James Hovendon (70min), Jack Gorman (17 min), Tadgh Dineen (49 mins), Alex Mc Donagh(75min)

Best for St Anne's: Darragh Loughman, Jamie O Brien, Diarmuid Downey.
