After the break, Nurney began to dominate possession and were denied by the woodwork twice, along with at least two good saves by Slaney goalkeeper Connors and Peter Keogh's goal-line clearance. Nurney Villa were left to rue these missed chances when Killian Walsh got on the end of a cross from Rory McColl and blasted home the winner on the 81-minute mark, giving the 3 points to Slaney.
