Graham Delaney came off the bench in the second half to score twice and seal another win for New Oak as they remain 3 points clear of second placed Parkville. The visitors started well and opened the scoring on 10 minutes. Dean Kelly's superb pass split the Kilree back line for Lee Walker to slot home into the far corner. Kilree almost equalised on the half hour, New Oak failed to clear a cross, and the ball fell to an unmarked Alan Salter, but his effort was scrambled off the line by David O'Shea. The visitors had a chance to extend their lead just before the break, but Cathal Gaffney's header cleared the crossbar and New Oak had to be content with a one goal half time advantage. The second half saw New Oak dominate possession as they went in search of a second goal, Lee Walker found himself one on one with the keeper but couldn't find the net on hour mark. With 20 minutes left the visitors introduced Delaney and his impact was almost instant as he picked up a loose inside the Kilree area before smashing a shot on the turn past the keeper at his near post. With 10 minutes left Delaney repeated the trick, Jordan Harmon made yards down the right wing and picked out Delaney with his back to goal, Delaney's first touch taking the defender out of the game as he sot on the turn to fire home New Oak's third to kill the game off and reward the efforts of Lee Murphy, David O'Shea, Dean Kelly and Jordan Harmon. Best for Kilree were Brian O'Rourke, Chris Blake and David MacDonald.
