Nurney started the game very well, passing the ball around and creating themselves lots of space and their possession was rewarded on five minutes, when Oisin Maloney scored from a Ben Smyth cross or 0 – 1. Nurney continued to pressurise Parkville and a good shot by Shane Kelly, brought a good save from the Parkville keeper. Nurney doubled their lead on ten minutes when Ben Smyth scored with a header from a corner and Oisin Maloney scored for his brace and make 0-3 t Nurney. Parkville were awarded a penalty on twenty three minutes, which they successfully converted to make it 1 -3 and thereafter, Nurney continued to pile on the pressure and this enabled Shane Kelly to score Nurney’s fourth and they took that 1-4 lead into the interval. Nurney started the second-half the same as the first and Shane Kelly scored again for 1-5 and Shane’s own personal brace and he then completed his hat-trick on fifty eight minutes to make it 1-6. Oisin Maloney scored another goal on sixty minutes, to complete his own hat-trick , making it 1-7. Nurney struck again on sixty three minutes, when Shane Kelly scored his fourth bringing the score to 1-8 and only three minutes later Oisin Maloney replicated his team-mate when he scored his fourth and make the score 1-9. On seventy three minutes Parkville scored their second, with a good strike, from a free-kick. Nurney continued to dominate the game and scored their tenth when Aidan Nolan scored from a tight angle inside the box on seventy nine minutes. Nurney scored their final goal through Tristan Searson to make the final score 2-11.
