Castle Rangers took the lead in the 25th minute and went two goals up just on the stroke of half-time. Nurney rallied in the 2nd half and Dean Farrell should have got a goal back but shot straight at the keeper. Pakie Fleming did get a goal back from close range in the 88th minute but Rangers held on for their win. Best for Nurney were Jamie McCabe, Tom Murphy and Joe Byrne.
