Crettyard Utd 4. St Josephs .1.
This was a really good contest in the first half with both teams having chances early on and it was St Joseph's who took the lead after 15mins when Daniel Donegan scored with a superb strike this gave the visitors a boost and they were unlucky not to increase their lead with another few chances they had . Crettyard started to get into the game late in the first half and scored twice inside 5mins to lead at Half Time 2-1 St Joseph's we're made to pay for missing their early chances H/T 2-1.The second half was only a few mins old when an own goal gave the home side a 3-1 lead this was cruel luck for St Joseph's who also had to finish the last 20mins with 10 players due to a bad injury to one of their players with all subs on already and Crettyard took full advantage when they scored a fourth to make it 4-1 St Joseph's never gave up and can be very proud of the way they played as the scoreline was very flattering on the home side as it was a tighter game than the score line suggests credit to Crettyard for the win as they also played their part in what was a good game in terrible conditions F/T 4-1.
